Ranging from 4,845 to 7,110 yards, the Randy Heckenkemper-designed, par-72 course offers playability and enjoyment to players of all ages and skill levels. By taking advantage of the natural landscape, Heckenkemper’s strategy – often referred to as “modified target golf” – minimizes disturbance to the native vegetation while still boasting substantial playing widths. The greens are an A1-A4 creeping bentgrass blend; the tees, fairways and roughs are TifSport Bermuda grass; and lush landscaping frames the course’s playing corridors. It is a course that is truly multigenerational in play, with routings that are fun for the entire family. Beautiful surroundings are not the only extravagance to be enjoyed at The Territory. From fishing on one of three ponds to spending an evening taking a stroll on the walking trail, The Territory provides several fun-filled, non-golf related activities to be enjoyed by all. The SportCourt, boasting tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, is located beside the expansive croquet lawn and zero-entry swimming pool.
